TESTIMONY - God has touched every aspect of my life, including moonbloomers!

I just want to share a little bit about myself; I'm Jaide - I'm 34 years old, Pisces sun ;) Im a mama to a toddler; a LOVER and beloved, of Creation/Creator, and I like to create. I have been free bleeding since my mid twenties, when I started doing birth work and learning about the horrors of the feminine hygiene products on the market - as well as female health care in general. I am a highly sensitive person and have to wear all natural clothing, use all natural products, and live a pretty 'clean' lifestyle - or I will become ill in some way. I am grateful for this revelation as it has led me to great health, fertility, and the wisdom necessary for the care and keeping of my body. I am a birth worker, full spectrum doula - and have been for a decade now. In that time I have also earned certification as a clinical herbalist; yoga instructor; and am a student of biodynamic cranialsacral - as it is a wonderful type of low intervention; laying on of hands.

There are so many ways one human can support another, and I love to be of service to my community.

IRL and online

I find ways to create space for coming back to baseline, back to basics.

Support in becoming, in the unraveling. I create space for the rawness of life to come forth; as I have seen how all of it can be beautiful - even when witnessed; and sometimes we require to be witnessed, to heal.

I feel like moonbloomers seamlessly collaborates with my other passions and projects, because it is just another kind of witnessing.

Witness to the blood, to the body.

A witnessing to the unseen cycles of both.

I put on my bloomers, and I am saying to myself - Here I am, bleeding, tender, here I am supporting my own body with the tools i have at my disposal. Here I am to remember the work my body is doing, and honor it.

I started this project, MoonBloomers, with a fellow mama.

who is making a baby and leading an awesome online course (shout out to MothersCocoon.com) We are both, super passionate about supporting the female body, natural - in all its glory! Free bleeding, free birthing, free to be feminine and open about what our bodies are communicating.

The MB mission is to provide women with a sustainable and eco positive option to accompany them on their menstruation journey.

I walk The Way and part of that - is - the beauty way - in a fashion that is not exploitative, but life giving. I love to source everything I can in life, straight from the Earth or processed by people whom care about their carbon footprint. I love textiles! beads! flowers! I love the process of turning plants into vats of delicious color and invoking a mood through a custom crafted cup of herbal tea.

There is a way to live life

that allows for joy in consumption -

and not d e s t r u c t i o n.

Giving glory to Creator, is reveling in and admiring creation, ie: Nature. Taking care of creation, is a part of being human, being a steward to our lands and ecosystems. We have to take conscious steps in our walk that edify creation, and that includes - in our consumption. Supporting small business, who support other small buisness (shout out to the etsy shop where i get my organic thread from!) is a way that we revolt against the capitalist regime, which is historically exploitative and destructive, to the Earth and its people. When we pair down and wear what makes sense for our lives, our bodies, our work; when we source clothing that is made by loving hands - we can feel a difference. We can see a difference in our communities even ( I know I have!) I am a living testament to the life giving power of sourcing your life from Nature, as we are Nature. I feel confident to say that many members of my community do this in their Earth Walk. It is no small feat - it takes learning how to live with the elements, it is reciprocity in the doing - we pray for a future, together - because we were not created to do life, alone. and we pray for lives that sing in harmony with the Earth;

Better yet to walk away from consumerism all together! Become one with the trees! :)

But if/when we do partake in consumption, let it be outside of capitalism. Let it be hopeful for future generations, let it be wise and whimsical, let it be handmade!

I pray for a world where our food, shelter, clothing, furniture. instruments, our tools - they all are tended by someone that we know - someone that we want to support. A world where we live in harmony with one another.

Despite feeling like I am at my capacity most days, I relish in the act of sitting down at my sewing machine and constructing a one of a kind pair of undies for someone to wear, while they are in their most sensitive time of the month - or during those first weeks after giving birth. For me, bloomers add such a level of comfort to uncomfortable times, and have always elevated my self-care. My wish is that they can do the same for you.

I believe in the power of God. I believe in the power of Creator. I believe in the power of the body, made in the image of God. I believe in a body' s ability to create. I believe in the creation of beauty, to adorn the body, made in the image of God. I believe in the body. I believe in God. I believe in God, in the body. I believe.

There's alot to be grateful for; this project is one of the things that I express my gratitude for; and countless friends attest - their bloomers are one of the first things they think of, when they know they are about to start bleeding. It is a comfort to put them on, the way they hug you, bring warmth to your precious parts! They just feel like a layer of protection, and you wear them when you need protecting the most* it was meant to be; and I'm so grateful that this offering was gifted to other femmes with period panty hustles, because we need people making bloomers all over the world! Every bleeding body deserves comfort and security in the act of free bleeding; and this is one way we can support our sisters; by together creating sustainable ways to provide comfort to our bodies; as they tend, nurture, love, and take care of business!

Bless our bodies! Bleed Free!

amen, aho, and so it is
